Through Fish in the Bay, the OGFL shares updates on our research, stories from the field, and key findings that shape our understanding of the San Francisco Estuary (SFE).
In particular, our resident naturalist Jim Ervin provides regular and valuable updates regarding the ecological health of SFE wetlands sampled as part of the OGFL’s South Bay Otter Trawl Survey (SBOTS), Longfin Smelt Conservation and Culture Program (LFSCCP), and the Wetlands Regional Monitoring Program Fish and Fish Habitat (WRMP FFH) Survey.
