Feng received a B.S. in Wildlife Fish and Conservation Biology at UC Davis in 2019, and a M.S. in Urban Infrastructure Systems from New York University in 2023. At OGFL, she works on delta smelt and longfin smelt age and growth analysis using daily increments from otoliths. Her current focus is on Central Valley Steelhead life history analysis using archived otoliths.
